Come along and help clean up Nottingham’s canal!

Sprout has teamed up with British Waterways to take part in a canal clearance on Tuesday 15th March from 10am to 1pm. There are a range of tow path tidy up activities planned for the day and children from the local school will also be lending a hand.

British Waterways will also provide a boat to access the offside bank of the canal so that volunteers can clear it of rubbish. Life jackets will be provided.

We will be meeting up with volunteers at the Abbey Street bus stop before heading down to the site together. You can reach the meeting point by getting the number 13 bus from the city centre and getting off at the stop at University Boulevard, Abbey Street.

Gloves, equipment and light refreshments will be provided.

For further information please contact Rachel or Emma at the Partnership Council on 0115 970 8200 or email sproutnottingham@gmail.com

For directions on the day please contact Rachel on 0790 994 2163.
