   Last weekend saw another session of Sprout volunteers and Nottingham Organic Gardeners teaming up to carry out work on the Whitemoor Allotments. Activities included weeding and mulching around apple trees, trimming hedges, completing the new path and putting in new steps by the bank.

   The next session that Sprout will be teaming up with NOGS will be Saturday 5th February.

For anyone who is interested in learning more about pruning apple and pear trees, St Anns Allotment Association is able to provide workshops to people who are interested on an avenue to avenue basis. So if you or a friend would like to be host to one of these exciting new workshops which are currently running until March then please contact the STAA office for further details.
